With the holidays just around the corner, our minds naturally turn to entertainment. There are dozens of ways to make your guests and family feel at home for the holidays. I suggest you try to put your family’s customs into everything you do. Preparing to welcome friends in your home is a lot of fun, and ensures a memorable visit for everyone. Here are a few holiday design tips to help get you “InThe Spirit.”

Candlelight!

sep12_candleNothing gives a room that magical soft holiday glow better than candlelight.  For the most dramatic impact, group candles just as you would any other collectible.  And if you place them on a silver platter, you will definitely double their impact.  Candles and their soft glowing light are always complementary to you and your guests.

Add a holiday touch in an unexpected place.
